Who We Are
Planet Ausome was born from the vision of parents just like you – ones who were gifted with children with special needs. In recognition of the challenges that our kids face when there is a break from school, our goal is to provide a fun outlet for them over the summer months.
We are a collaboration of parents, educators and paraprofessionals with the aim to provide specialized support and resources that empower campers to gain confidence and independence. Our Camp presents an opportunity to enrich the lives of our campers and their families through meaningful experiences, understanding, and acceptance. With your involvement, we strive to create an unforgettable summer that celebrates diversity and encourages every camper to thrive!
What We Do

— We Tailor Activities
At Planet Ausome, campers participate in tailored activities that accommodate various abilities, ensuring that all campers can participate meaningfully.

— We Build Networks
Planet Ausome will provide opportunities for team building through the use of team projects, which will enable campers to feel included and an integral part of a greater social whole.

— We Strengthen
We empower campers to gain confidence and independence through fun group – filled activities.

— We Educate
Although we offer a fun centered camp, we base our activities on the foundations taught during the school year attempting to minimize the crucial skills that have the potential of being lost during the summer months.

— We Provide Care
We provide care for individuals who have specialized needs including the need for smaller class sizes. Although we cannot promise to accommodate every need we will try our hardest to meet most accommodations as it pertains to intellectual disability and children on the spectrum.
